Four Studios, One Epic Trek
Trekker has four multi-age studios so your student can work with peers of a similar age group, but have the opportunity to teach and learn from other students who are on a similar path.
Reader Studio
Ages 5-8
Our youngest studio focuses on three goals: (1) love of learning, (2) strong reading and basic math skills, and (3) kindness to others. Once kids can read basic books fluently, they’re ready to graduate to the Foundation Studio.
Foundation Studio
Ages 9-11
Our goal in the foundation studio is to (1) make each trekker feel smart and confident in their ability to learn any subject, (2) front-load their learning of grammar, spelling, and math so they are ready to learn additional skills later on. They also get to experience epic challenges and out-of-the-box learning opportunities so they can begin to decide what their interest areas will be.
Stride Studio
Ages 12-15
Trekkers in the Growth Studio have a natural need to prove themselves, and they want their work to be valued. In addition to an academic focus, we let them learn and experiment. Some of our most fun and epic challenges and experiences happen in the Growth Studio.
Accelerator Studio
Ages 16-18
This is the place for our trekkers to show the world what they can do. They develop serious businesses in their interest areas while being mentored by a successful adult entrepreneur. They focus 100% on creating work that will actually be seen and used in the real world. They also participate in our rigorous preparation for the SAT/ACT.
